COLD WAR IS A SUCCESS
Interivisio’s new documentary series (8×28”) Kylmän sodan Suomi (”Finland during Cold War) is a hit. The series has inflamed a national debate about the era in Finnish history and especially ”the finlandization” ie. Soviet Union’s influence on Finnish politics during the era. The episodes of the series had on average 872 000 viewers with a share of 37,3%.
Karin suomalaiset documentary
Kari Suomalainen (1920-1999) was Finland’s most famous political cartoonist. His cartoons appeared daily in nation’s biggest newspaper Helsingin Sanomat between 1950-1991. Karin suomalaiset is a documentary about Kari’s (as he was known) works and how they reflected the nation during his times.

Intervisio produces a weekly radio show ”Father Studio” for Yle’s talk radio channel Yle Puhe (Tuesdays at 13.00) . Host of the show is Mr Olavi Seppänen. The show examines different kind’s of fatherhood. The show is also available on Yle Areena.
3000 EPISODES OF MITÄ TÄNÄÄN SYÖTÄISIIN
Intervisio’s daily food show Mitä tänään syötäisiin (”What should we eat today?” has reached a milestone: 3000 episodes of the show have been produced!. The show is on air at MTV3.
SUOMI ON MAALAINEN STARTS
Suomi on maalainen-series (”Finland is a hillbilly”) show’s how countryside has affected finnish way of life. The first episode of the series is the evening’s most watched show on TV1 with 586 000 viewers (share 40%). 8-episode series is hosted by journalist Olavi Seppänen.
MTV commissions Menu Finnjävel
Intervisio is producing a new food show called Menu Finnjävel. Top class chefs Henry Alén and Tommi Tuominen are composing a five course menu for a fine dining restaurant. Their Finnjävel restaurant serves traditional Finnish dishes that have been re-imagined for today with modern methods.
KOIVISTO IS A HIT
Intervisio’s documentary series about Mauno Koivisto, the former president of Finland is a roaring success on TV1. The first episode had 686 000 viewers (share 36%). 8-epidode series is hosted by a famous Finnish writer Jari Tervo.
Intervisio and Hihhihhii co-production
Intervisio and Hihhihhii production company have joined forces on a feature film project. The companies will co-produce a feature film based on stories by renowned Finnish writer Jalmari Finne. Mr Finne (1874–1938) wrote a series of children’s books featuring a crazy family ”Kiljunen”. The movie is based in these stories and it will have it’s premiere in February 2021.
